Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy is a health care profession primarily concerned with the prevention or remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention.

A Physiotherapist is a healthcare provider who manages human ailments of various etiologies e.g. musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, cardio-vascular problems, sports injuries etc. by using physical means such as electrotherapeutic modalities, exercises etc.

A Physiotherapist can join government or private sector and practice independently. This is an emerging field with bright future both within the country and abroad.

The DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) Program is of five years duration after F.Sc. (Pre-medical).

DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) is affiliated with the University of Sargodha, which is a Government sector University.

Last date of admission will be announced on website and news paper.

No, it is based on the F.Sc. marks only. minimum eligibility criteria is 55% marks in F.Sc. The candidates finally selected will be interviewed for personality and aptitude.

Margalla General Hospital Pirwadhai and National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine Islamabad are attached with the college for clinical training of students.
